It’s kind of a miracle.
The last time I watched it, I really noticed how great the casting was in this.
I still think Forrest Whittaker was a let down in for Saw.
Yeah but he was a minor character, barely in the movie. I'm talking about the major players. Jyn, Cassian, Bodhi, Krennic were all so great in this.
They were. i just loved Saw and thought he should be a bit more prominent and better handled.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I thought he was fine as an "old" Saw, given what I already knew about the character.

i think Krennic was the most striking character visually and in overall performance.

Read what I said about him after this comment Joey. I said I liked Whittaker as an "old" Saw, based on what I knew about the character already

I haven’t watched it since TLJ but I feel like a lot of the camera style is similar and complementary to each other. TLJ feels more like Rogue one than it does TFA in this sense.

Could be they both do new things with the camera we’ve never seen before in Star Wars.

Krennic is great. But I don't think his performance is the best. Top 5, for sure though. Probably top 3.

Having only seen The Last Jedi once, I still think Rogue One is better. But I've seen R1 like six times.

I keep trying to find time to watch this again in full (I think the last two times I saw this I just watched the end). But I've been foolishly watching other things for the first time.

I’m really Fucking enjoying this. We just got to the market in Jeddah.

I was too harsh on this film. It’s finally landed for me I think.

It's quite good. I have a lot of critiques about the first half, but nothing that stops me from enjoying it. The kind of stuff that marks the difference between very good and great, nothing that's a deal breaker.

This is hurting me a lot to say.
It’s like being in an evangelical setting and being forced to admit my sins in front of the congregation

But this feels way more like Star Wars than last Jedi does
