the tonal lurch in this thread is jarring and ruins the whole flow of the conversation.

bring back the creator, alex to set the ship right.

I think Rey's parents are in fact nobody, but I'm guessing she finds out they weren't bad people and they loved her and were forced to give her away for whatever reason.

agree...it's something jj wont let pass by i dont think and it will be a massive emotional payoff...right now im happy with her being just a nobody..it adds to this story..but as part of a trilogy to have her have that moment and its a fuckin oprah moment hopefully and not a maury one, it could be awesome

An Oprah moment: Rey finds her parents that loves her so so much, then defeats Ren and brings peace and balance to the universe with Poe, Finn and Rose by her side. The end.

This is cool.
So when kylo senses his mam on the bridge and doesn’t fire. But one of his wingmen does fire, and destroys the bridge, he fires on the one that shot and destroys it.

I read that there was no contact between light sabers in the whole movie. Even the kylo-luke fight was swinging and dodging. Is this true?

There’s not. Does it matter? The throne room sequence is probably the best in all Star Wars.

Did I say it mattered? All I said was I read it and wanted to know if it was true.
