Me, but I'm mystified as to how you construed that as a complaint about either the price of the set or the idea that differently-priced versions of the reissue have different content.
I guess I was assuming that your complaint was that the only way you could obtain the official recording was to invest >$100 on the boxed set and did not have a more affordable option such as CD or download.
But nothing I wrote sug...you know what? Nevermind.

Yes - and there's also the early demo tracks that were only (commercially) available on cassette.

Perhaps speeno should suffer a similar fate to those who have crossed B in the past.

What happens to people who cross me?

... I mean other than being forced to mock me via the forum indefinitely.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Hey, do you guys keep your old copies of things that have been reissued? I have finite space for storage of Pearl Jam shit. I'm curious what other people do.

After I bought the big boxed sets, I gave my Ten-Vitalogy CDs to the local library, but I've held onto the vinyl.

I just bought Brad's Welcome to Discovery Park, but my original copy came with a numbered sticker and that artwork isn't recreated in the reissue. I'm not sure what to do with it.

Sure, the original discs all sound better.

For the purposes of this thought exercise, let's pretend you're satisfied w/ the sound on the reissues.

I don't have any CDs, anywhere. I have the vinyl versions, and digital versions.

I'm keeping my original copies. The reissues are a different animal in my book.

Props for donating though.

I haven't bought a reissue yet. The only ones I'm potentially interested in are Binaural and S/T.

That seems to be the rule rather then the rule except for audiophile remasters.

Pearl Jam is the only band that I will still have everything on CD despite having digital copies of everything. I like giving it a big amount of shelf space - sorta on display. For playback at home my primary source is vinyl and of course the originals sound vastly different than the reissues so they are all kept safe and sound.

I honestly like the Vs. reissue better than the original.

I bought both reissues, but i prob shouldve just illegally downloaded them from the internet...I agree Binaural and S/T look to be the most promising, but song titles like April Bear and Islands have me kinda excited for the Riot Act reissue

Kind of off topic, but I just saw a No Code HD torrent on a popular torrenting site. Like most torrents, there's not much information available with it. The album was posted as wave files, so I'm guessing this is a quality torrent. Can any of the audiophiles explain if this would be an upgrade to the original cd? There's also a 24 bit 96 KhZ vinyl flac rip posted. Would that be similar to listening to it on vinyl?

It's hard to say. Most torrents that sound too good to be true are just full of viruses.

If you're game enough, download them and let us know if there is any difference.
