Not at Wrigley.daft twat wrote:Anyone else think they'll try again next summer?
So perhaps it's been discussed before/elsewhere, but why is it so hard for them to play at Wrigley again if they wanted to? Scheduling be damned, I understand it's probably not easy, but if the "pedigree" had Jason Aldean playing the next night, surely this band has enough influence to do it, yeah? I mean, they let them keep the show going until 2:00 am. It seems there's a fair amount of shows at the ball park each year.Chris_H_2 wrote:They may try, but there's no way they're back within the next 5 years.

Dave Matthews played two nights in September 2 years ago, your argument is invalid.Fuck You Jobu wrote:...and there's really only 1 good period in the summer to watch a show (All Star Break) without it completely destroying the field...
Did you give Tim a handy behind the bleachers?twoheadedboy wrote: Edit: Holy shit, not "Banned From The Pit" anymore!
watching just a very small part of the Cubs game last night there was no visible damage to the field. the metal tiles they lay down apparently work really well.twoheadedboy wrote:Dave Matthews played two nights in September 2 years ago, your argument is invalid.Fuck You Jobu wrote:...and there's really only 1 good period in the summer to watch a show (All Star Break) without it completely destroying the field...

still not something a major league team wants to chance, and, you still only do have a few windows where it works... Allstar break (if theyre home/away before or after) or during a 10+ game road trip (which is only 1 or 2 during a season)BDB wrote:watching just a very small part of the Cubs game last night there was no visible damage to the field. the metal tiles they lay down apparently work really well.twoheadedboy wrote:Dave Matthews played two nights in September 2 years ago, your argument is invalid.Fuck You Jobu wrote:...and there's really only 1 good period in the summer to watch a show (All Star Break) without it completely destroying the field...
