This Yoda was made from the same mold as the original. It looks exactly the same especially in close up shots

Making a new puppet from the same mold doesn’t mean it automatically looks “exactly the same.” There are many other variances at play in the realized visual effect of Yoda than just the mold.

Lol. So the people making the movie were like "it really doesn't matter how he looks, he's a force ghost and can appear however he wants"?

Of all the issues real or imagined people have with this film picking on this particular one is fucking dumb.

Your favorite characters, who you thought beat the bad guys and lived happily ever after, were actually failures who spent their entire lives fighting a horrifying, decades long losing war that took away every thing they ever loved and eventually killed them, which they then passed on to a new generation, because these toys aren't gonna sell themselves.

Real fun

Actually, I'm not one of them doing that. I just created that picture in my head based on your comment and laughed to myself. I had no problem with how he looked. Especially because he was in it for so little time. If he was going to be some major character, I could see dealing with it then, but it just isn't the case here.
