With every coaching hire, I feel more and more comfortable with keeping Schwartz for one more year.

Do they try to get Vick to come back at a reduced rate? He would seem to fit Kelly's offense quite well.
Holy Shit, how did that happen? i thought he had made his decision and was staying for sure. Wow, im shocked by that one
You and me both, brotha. That's crazy. And I hope like hell they keep Vick. I don't want him anywhere near KC.
yeah, i dont know why Andy Reid likes him, but it wouldnt have surprised if he did end up in KC, but it makes perfect sense for him to stay in Philly now

i think he deserves 1 more year, but he needs to get the team showing improvement quickly.

I don't follow the CFL at all, but I've been hearing his name for a couple of years, and he is supposed to be a pretty respected offensive mind, and has apparently worked with Cutler in the past as well.
He made Bernie Kosar look good. If Trestmas can't help Cutler, I don't know who can.

i just figured when they were interviewing him that it would be for a possible OC job if the New HC liked the idea of him. but if offense is what they were wanting, then he is definitely one for the job

Oregon's probably going to get reamed with NCAA sanctions, so it would be a big loss either way.

Yeah, that's why 10-6 Lovie was fired. Looks like the OC will be Kromer from the Saints.

Does Philly have a Tom Brady prototype in the works that the world doesn't know about?

well he's tall and has shaggy hair, so he's got a start

i dunno if kelly will stick w foles or not. i read an article from 2011 where kelly talks about playing against foles and said he's kinda "in awe" of him, so he's familiar w/ the kid and has praised him before. people keep saying kelly will need a mobile qb, but brady isnt mobile and they've used some of kelly's ideas successfully this year. i know foles isnt tom brady, but just from an athletic perspective, they are similar.

Many of Chip Kelly's ideas have already started to shine at the NFL level. He probably won't be a success (and since the Eagles hired him I hope he isn't) but he has a better chance in the current NFL climate than ever before.
