This could go in Star Wars videos, but the ramifications of this videos topic has a big impact on Luke and maybe Rey.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I think it's really interesting to see how over time Rogue One seems to be gaining quite a bit of respect.

I don't think so. I was meh on TFA, and still am. I loved R1, and still do. Doesn't bode well for TLJ with me...

I was speaking in general terms. As you already pointed out, Skitch's point doesn't apply to you. You already loved R1. I think as far as public opinion goes, TLJ will improve with time.

I wasn't really "talking" to anyone. I just made an observation about how people seem to have come around on Rogue One. I didn't mention anything about The Last Jedi!

I enjoyed both movies, maybe prefer Rogue One a little more. One thing I find very impressive about the Last Jedi (and really Force Awakens as well, though the newer entry really solidified this), is the creation of an interesting antagonist. Darth Vader's about the most iconic 'bad guy' in movie history, and the new creators were wise not to try and create anything even in that ballpark. Going the way they went with Kylo Ren doesn't make him seem like the all-powerful impenetrable wall Vader felt like for much of the OT, but the fact that they found such a compelling route for their 'villian' went your competition is Darth Vader is pretty impressive.

Fair enough. My apologies.

I guess then, I'M not really talking about Ruddo and LV. Well... I genuinely won't be surprised if LV actually does come around on the movie down the line. But that's irrelevant.

Totally agree. Vader never really worked for me as a villain in the OT. As a kid I just didn't understand why there needed to be one big cheesy Storm Trooper in black. Jedi is when Vader became interesting to me. Needless to say, I goddamn love Kylo Ren. Right now he's a far more compelling (in not quite as "sinister" -- and I mean that in the old black and white movie serial sense of the word -- as Vader).

Hey I'm watching this today. I am not a big SW fan, thought TFA was okay/serviceable, and loved Rogue One a lot. Have somehow avoided all spoilers except for the fact that Yoda is in this and looks weird. Predict how I'll feel about this one!
