Excited for you joey :)
Thanks! Me too! It's a "Hoth" day outside. So I'm looking forward to kicking back in the big dark room with a beer or two and having some fucking fun.

This weekend, I swear!

I may do a little bit tonight, too. My office is in the basement and these temperatures aren't doing me any favors

Funny. I disagree with every conclusion in that article, apart from what it said about JJ.

Written by someone with no investment I can Star Wars or its mythology losing their minds it’s a pretty honest take And stands in stark contrast to over invested fanbois who are losing their minds cos they hated the film. It’s an interesting one for sure.

This was fantastic. i loved his thoughts about JJ and i agree completely. I enjoy that aspect of his film making but can understand how one might find it to be lazy or gimmicky. What Johnson did to come in and open that up and deal with JJ"s mystery box approach was absolutely fantastic.

And Mark Hamill was brilliant. "And it’s all built up into a crystalline moment of teaching both from an old friend in Yoda, and then what he has to give forward. My audience was practically hovering three feet above their chairs for “see around kid.:"

Yea.....

I couldn't even make it to point 3 because this person so thoroughly misunderstands JJ & TFA that it's painful.
