I liked Phantom Pain more but 4 has its charms.

Bought Pyre for 9.99 on the Holiday PSN Sale. It is great!

Started Resident Evil 7 as well.

Oh God. The thing that would get me to purchase a PS4 is a reality. Though I heard rumors of a Switch version so that's a possibility too. I played the shit out of that and bought every single piece of DLC.

A Switch version would be legit.

I would have to buy two Switches though because I wouldn't let anyone else play.

That game was so good.

I haven't really followed the series since. Did they ever release another game that had a similar gameplay loop?

2008 Burnout Paradise PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows
2010 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
2011 Burnout Crash! PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, iOS
2012 Need for Speed: Most Wanted Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Wii U
2013 Need for Speed: Rivals[15] Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One
2015 Battlefield Hardline[16]
2016 Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR Mission[17] PlayStation VR
2017 Star Wars Battlefront II[18] Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One
I bought Hot Pursuit because I was told it would have racing as good as Burnout. It did not. And on top of that I liked the multi in BP, not the racing as much, and it didn't have that either. I bought Most Wanted because I was hoping they'd get it right the second time. I couldn't even connect my EA account to the game because it said the account already existed. I did not bother with Rivals.

I finished Uncharted Lost Legacy (awesome by the way) and jumped right into playing Drakes Fortune again. I think its my 4th run through. In some ways Drakes Fortune is my favorite of the series at least story-wise but jumping from the perfection of gameplay mechanics of Lost Legacy to Drakes Fortune is a major adjustment.

To say the least. The second to second gameplay in the PS4 games is so damn smooth and delightful.

Paradise was my least favorite Burnout.

That's a terrible argument since there hasn't been a Burnout game since.
