It didnt matter to me either way before. Then I saw this pic and yep.

He’s gotta capture the Han rogueish charisma though. That’s the trick.

You mean it’s been frozen in carbonite and out into perfect hibernation.

Are you even a Star Wars fan? Letting such a sweet reference go by like that

Ken Napzok pointed out that this is really the first Star Wars film since the 1977 original to be "an underdog." That's fucking awesome. I've long said that I don't care about this movie but I love a good underdog story. I hope this movie is awesome. I really, really do. I want this to be great.

It’s almost completely being predicted by the fans to be awful. That makes me wanna root for it and I’m pretty confident it’s gonna be awesome and they’re all gonna eat shit

It's gonna be hilarious when this ends up being the one fans universally agree is awesome.

Im curious what kind of conflict there could be that would interest me? Does there need to be a conflict of sorts in this movie?

I’m on a few different general forums like rm and whenever a new Star Wars comes you get these guys rolling in and just running the shit out of it it’s awful end of story. So theyre new thing is shitting all over whatever is coming next, with no Info or expertise for want of a better word, but no even Star Wars chops like we’d have.

But also TLJ having been so divisive a lot of the hardcore are on the rampage shifting on han already.

So they’re preprogramming themselves to hate it and no way in the world will they roll back on that and say they’ve enjoyed it. Theyll go harder saying it’s awful if it turns out to be a success. They’ll go see it just to shit on it. That’s it.

We’re being told it’s more a heist / caper movie than a conflict set up. Like Snatch or goodfellas sorta thing.

So as far as the Box Office goes - this thing will still be a success!

Han crosses Lando and takes the Falcon. There's your conflict.

He always came across as too defensive on the "I won her fair and square" bit.

He could and should have had Maz’s part. Or been the administrator of that fine casino
