If that Lakers pick falls in the 2-5 spot and they get another quality player especially a big it would be hilarious.

Because it's worked out so well for them to this point? Lonzo, Randle and Ingram are all developing with way lower ceilings than their lottery status.

I'd say Brown and Tatum look to be working out.verb_to_trust wrote:Because it's worked out so well for them to this point? Lonzo, Randle and Ingram are all developing with way lower ceilings than their lottery status.
edit....it just occurred to me you might not have known that the Celts get the Lakers pick if it falls in the 2-5 range....so in effect Danny traded a player that seems to have a broken jump shot (Fultz) for Tatum and potentially a 2-5 pick next draft.

Re: NBA Thread
We were talking about the Lakers not the Celtics, who despite their young talent have a zero percent chance at a title for the foreseeable future.

Re: NBA Thread
Sixers are apparently ready to redshirt a healthy Fultz because he can't shoot. Lonzo can't shoot either. How did we get here? The top two picks in the draft literally can't shoot and we are in the age of everyone sucking on Steve Curry and other shooting specialists.

This post is just as much about the Lakers as it is about the Celtics, crackerbada wrote:Coach wrote:That trade with Philly is turning out to be another Danny special.

This is a good looking box score. Wolves improve to 12-3 over their last 15.

I remember I really enjoyed some January wins back in the Thibs days too. By April these guys will be toast and even hitting on all cylinders your base God Jimmy Butler is not going to win you playoff games. He literally never did it as a Bull after he led his coup d'é tat, just had Dwade soap his balls in the shower while talking in the third person about his leadership after losses.

The NBA instituting a 3 year out of high school rule would probably help their product.

they need to have way fewer games in their regular seasonElectromatic wrote:The NBA instituting a 3 year out of high school rule would probably help their product.
maybe change each playoff matchup to a best of 13 series to counter and preserve the revenue
in a 188 game season you're not going to take many of them seriously
