Made only $7 million in its second week in China, and has been dropped down to showing on only 2,5% of the cinemas there.

Not sure what happened, they did fantastic with TFA though. TFA $124 million, R1 $69,5, TLJ $24 (and not predicted to do a lot more).

To be fair I doubt Disney care at this point. Once it climbed over the billion mark they’re happy. It’s all gravy after that.

And they know and we’re prepared. There’s video of iger telling shareholders TLJ as the 2nd movie won’t make as much as TFA, so basically temper expectations.

I would say they need to do less movies. Eventually people is going to be fed up with new star wars movies every year. Make one movie every 2 or 3 years.

Forgot about that. They won’t appear for years though. Gonna say 2022 at the earliest.

Only the Anakin/Luke/Rey one is FX. The others are Ultra Sabers (not a fan of their features to price ration), and the one on the far left is an Electrumsaber. That one is fucking incredible. There are not switches on it. You activate by swiping your thumb up the pad or turn it off by swiping down. You can also change the blade color and sounds on the fly. Incredible saber.

One of those I sanded down and weathered myself. Working on perfecting that craft but I have a long way to go.

The idea of doing character movies over say, the battle of Jakku or the fleeing from Yavin is absolutely daft. I won't bother with them, can't wait for episode 9 already.
So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

Part of me agrees with you, but my kids and I are still going to opening day for the Marvel movies, and they're in the high teens, pushing out 3 a year.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

My kids informed me last night that they want to see this again, and asked when it's coming out on BR/DVD.

Ok, I'd be happy for a third viewing. Cinema visit pending.
