This might be heresy but I think prefer baked bacon to fried bacon.

I tried this new thing where I baked some sliced potatoes and put the bacon on top of them, so the potatoes soaked up some of the bacon grease and the bacon was elevated, and didn’t fry in as much grease. It was amazing. Bacon has so much flavor that gets lost when it’s fried and crispy.

I'm not a big bacon fanatic (I like it but I'm not obsessed with it like it seems most Americans are); that said, baked IS better. It's also easier to cook
