a smarter man would have given himself more wiggle room on that in the first damn place.

This is true - 2009 in Christchurch he relabled Temor christ to Tremor Christchurch, a few months later a quake rooted that city. Is Eddie a prophet?

2010 was one of the worst years that I can remember personally.

So what's the story with "I'm so high the sky I scrape"? I always figured it had something to do with this forum. o.O

Yeah, that's one that's better on the record.

Also, I prefer the studio version's "To live and die, let it be done" to the live version's "To be tried, don't be a judge."

Isn't that just the Melbourne 1998 version? And no, I don't think that's what the guy is after.

Correct weight! Well spotted (heard?)... I think I have had it pointed out to me on at least one other boot but I can't remember which one off the top of my head.

And yeah, I guess facetiousness doesn't carry on the interwebs. I'm sorry, I'll stick to using the  from now on. :|

The lyric changes that have bothered me the most have been the changes like "Daddy" to "Father" in songs like Jeremy.

I think that sometimes Ed makes a change to songs based on who he is or has become rather than keeping the lyrics based on the perspective of the character in the story being told.
