Subtle characters. Competent direction. Solid script. Excellent cinematography. Slow pace. Gorgeous imagery. Wonderful performances. Exploration on genre. Humanity in unexpected places. Good dialogue. Imagination.
This movie is the worst.
You’re the worst.
Play the ball. Not the man. Cmon. We can convince these blow ins this film is shit.

Blade Runner 2049 <<<< --- TLJ
I'd easily recommend it. Great atmosphere and some interesting characters.

They are so different....TLJ doesnt try what BR2049 achieves. And its ok.
Im glad they got a few nominations but it should have been nominated for best movie and best director.

I always think it's weird when they only nominate 9 movies when there are several that could easily take that 10th spot. Blade Runner 2049 and I, Tonya and The Florida Project all deserve to be nominated for Best Picture.

I love Starlet and Tangerine. Those two might be the best movies i saw i a while and the production design is wonderful. Sean Baker is a genius.

I still need to see Starlet and Tangerine. I think TFP is the only Sean Baker film that I've seen, actually.

You need to see them now. Starlet is such a powerful movie. Looks awesome, the score is great and the story is beautiful. And Tangerine...wow. Masterpiece. Modern cinema.

There is nudity but it's not really sexy nudity for the most part. It's definitely worth seeing.
Oh come on, there’s totes sexy nudity.

So... yeah. This was good. Visually stunning and smart, only marred by Leto’s weird “acting”.
