Far less stressful, far harder to get tickets.

I meant all the other reasons a sensible person wouldn’t join; I worded that poorly.Bi_3 wrote:Rank the other reasons.Birds in Hell wrote:Why would anyone new bother joining?Bammer wrote:I feel strongly that someone with a 20+ year fan club number should have better odds. In what way? Is the lottery weighted by seniority? I’m sorry I’m asking all these newbie questions.CopperTom wrote:Yes. Fair though.Bi_3 wrote:numbers wrote:The last time I was in 10C it was still a pre-Sale, is the lottery better?

You don't have to spend an entire tuesday hitting F5. Like if you are a nurse or teacher or something.numbers wrote:In what way? Is the lottery weighted by seniority? I’ve never had a problem getting tickets since I dropped it, I’m just trying to help my chances a little bit.

Re: 2018 Tour Rumors
There will always be tickets available for a large venue. In fact you might be able to score a great seat for under face value. I just like knowing I have my ticket situation secured the day they go on sale and then don't have to worry about it again.

Is it still set up so that you don’t know where you are sitting until you pick up your ticket?

if i knew what my seats were, i'd know if i wanted to try TM and get better. in Seattle '13, my friend got better seats through the general TM sale than i did through 10c.

That would require TC to actually assign tickets prior to the public sale.bodysnatcher wrote:this is what pisses me off.numbers wrote:Is it still set up so that you don’t know where you are sitting until you pick up your ticket?

Exactly. I’ve generally gotten better seats outside the 10C, so it’d be nice to have an idea.bodysnatcher wrote:this is what pisses me off.numbers wrote:Is it still set up so that you don’t know where you are sitting until you pick up your ticket?

At face value or do you take your chances with StubHub and the like?numbers wrote:Exactly. My recent PJ seats via Ticketmaster (when getting shut out of the 10C lottery) have been shitty nosebleed seats.

At face value, I was on the field at Fenway last time.Bammer wrote:At face value or do you take your chances with StubHub and the like?numbers wrote:Exactly. I’d love to know where a terrible number got you at the Fenway shows last time. If it’s on the field I’m fine, but if it’s like behind home plate or something like that I’d rather take my chances with the public sale.

PJ flag on top of the Space Needle. On the scooter ride home, the ferris wheel on the water was lit up with the Lightning Bolt eye, and Safeco was lit up red with a big "PEARL JAM" on the scoreboard.
kinda cool.
