a smarter man would have given himself more wiggle room on that in the first damn place.
"Twelve years from whenever you happen to be listening to this, watch it go to fire*
*Fire is not necessarily a predictable component of the coming apocalypse."

This is true - 2009 in Christchurch he relabled Temor christ to Tremor Christchurch, a few months later a quake rooted that city. Is Eddie a prophet?melonhead4 wrote:Well 2010 was a really bad year....Alot of earthquakes and the economy suckedCupidStunt wrote:I'm annoyed he still sings "2010 watch it go to fire" in Evolution, even though that year has passed. 2010 was one of the worst years that I can remember personally.

Yeah, that's one that's better on the record.Noonie wrote:It's like how it always kinda bugged me that he always changes it to "we'll end up alone like we began", which is nice and inclusive and all, but just no where near as powerful as "I'll end up alone like I began".
Also, I prefer the studio version's "To live and die, let it be done" to the live version's "To be tried, don't be a judge."

Correct weight! Well spotted (heard?)... I think I have had it pointed out to me on at least one other boot but I can't remember which one off the top of my head.
And yeah, I guess facetiousness doesn't carry on the interwebs. I'm sorry, I'll stick to using the

Re: Lyrics that Eddie Vedder has changed through the years?
The lyric changes that have bothered me the most have been the changes like "Daddy" to "Father" in songs like Jeremy.
I think that sometimes Ed makes a change to songs based on who he is or has become rather than keeping the lyrics based on the perspective of the character in the story being told.
