Another I've yet to see. I am looking forward to it, though. There's something really unsettling to me about the premise that has kept me from running out and seeing it. But I'll try to get to it before the ceremony.

I’d be the first to complain if this was that kind of film. Older guy misleading a younger guy.
It’s not that at all and it’s a shame cos lots of people aren’t seeing it cos they have that same thought.
The gay aspect is so subliminal and yet present and sorta humming underneath. The film itself feels exactly like what is being depicted. A lovely warm sunny lazy Italian holiday. It’s so evocative and transports you. Did me anyways. It looks and feels beautiful.
Then the story comes to a head and well...it’s perfect.

Except The Shape of Water, since I’d definitely rather watch that one in 4K.

It has the most nominations since return of the king? Did I mishear that?

I figured it wasn't too creepy given the wide praise the film has received. Still, it's definitely been on my mind and it's the one element that's guided me toward a different movie every time I've gone to the theater thinking I might see it. There's always been something else I want to see just as badly, so I've opted for the other in every instance.

But I do want to see the movie. I keep hearing great things about it.

It’s funny how in this day and age we assume it’s somethibg sinister :)
But even if it was being sinister of it makes you feel that, it’s doing it’s job.

Thankfully it isn’t

So does anyone have any explanation for the weird veiled skeleton in The Post ? It’s as Meryls character is leaving the court.
Spielberg tic or some other significance?
