But now I know that her continued existence is up for debate in the series, so..

its the only possible chance we have to see her again, and the 2 jedi lads in rebels know and love her so she might still have an important part to play in their story..theyve only a few episodes left to wrap their stories up!

unless!!!! the new animated series is about Ahsoka and her adventures.

That would be great. She really needs to be in a movie.

Clone wars just taught me something.

We see endless ground battles in this series and in AOTC and it’s just two fronts shooting blasters. Millions of blaster bolts. Yet you never see any hits or consequences.
Sure they’ll show ties and x wings blowing up cos there’s no people dying.
That’s why these bttles we depicted are always pointless.
But to show none at all on ground battles is a mistake. Just cos it might upset the kids.

*in the same series Palpatine has a nursery of genetically engineered force capable babies that he’s breeding to be an army to wipe out Jedi. I mean cmon.

So I've never seen any of these Clone Wars series/movies, and am not familiar with them

Which should I watch, and which should I skip, and why?

2003 TV series (Tartakovsky)
2008 Movie (Filoni)
2008-2014 TV Series (Filoni)

Ok.
Watch the clone wars movie first. Then the series.
There’s six seasons. But for some reason their viewing order was mixed up.

There are episode guide lists out there you can google that will show you always just to watch different arcs. Like anakins or ahsoka.

I’d say just start from the start and work through. They’re only 20 minutes each. But they elevated the prequels and George’s vision of it all for me. They’re really really worthwhile.

Go for it.
