No Way might actually be Pearl Jam's most underrated song. I fucking LOVE that track.

It was an instant favorite back when the album was released..i never got why the band didnt played it live back then. Maybe because of the lyrics?
I had the luck to see it live, and man when they do the bridge again as a closer....fuuuuuck.

This is a pretty cool read even if i dont agree with their list. Lots of very good insights from every album...remind me of those times waiting for their record...Yield is 20 years. Yield was 20 years ago. Yeah.

"It’s telling that the band is still technically touring in support of Lightning Bolt"

Don't they just advertise it as "Pearl Jam Tour" now? Wikipedia says the LB Tour was 13-14.

The rankings are better than most lists I've seen. At least Lightning Bolt and Backspacer are in the bottom.

Yeah, it's not the same as mine (Riot Act is WAY too low) but I at least get their ranking. It makes sense to me.

Yeah, I think my age alone makes my rankings different than most.

It's hard sometimes to separate the attachment from the actual quality for me. All of that extra stuff matters and should be wrapped up with the music to some degree. But experience and memory and nostalgia aren't the only things to measure this stuff by. I have to remind myself of that constantly.

Release is the best. My favorite PJ concert moment was finally hearing it at my 5th show. It was a moment I’d daydreamed of for 20 years. I was emotional when it finally happened. I’ve had a longer and deeper connection to that song than any other in my life.
