The Warriors aren't very deep and every time I step on a twig I'm reminded they are a Steph/Durant injury away from "Houston, we have a problem" Nick Young Finals MVP? Verb, re-read my post. My point was not that they'd get a 1st rounder. It was that they felt comfortable enough with Rozier to dangle Smart for shits and giggles.verb_to_trust wrote:He has one NBA level skill. You could plug David Nwaba into Smart's role on the Celtics and get the same results. Is David Nwaba fetching first round value?

Verb, the problem with you being a negative contrarian is that you are wrong a lot about the NBA. Like the time you said Boston got fleeced in the Irving trade and that he and IT were basically the same player.verb_to_trust wrote:People do realize Boston got fleeced, right?

Re: NBA Thread
I don't know what Smart's trade value is on his own. He was more valuable last year cause they could play small with Isaiah and he could guard players way bigger than him but they don't need that this year. Verb's assessment is pretty spot on. He's an idiot with the ball in his hands. Its hard to see him fetching anything by himself. Maybe if you include him with other pieces he puts a deal over the top.

Maybe some Mike Miller and Matt Bonner. Throw in Jason Williams to continue the lack of diversity.Monkey_Driven wrote:Might as well get Corey Brewer while you're at it.4/5 wrote:Go Gators.verb_to_trust wrote:I heard big Al is pushing hard for the C's to acquire Joakim Noah. Boner killer!!

Lavine destroyed some guy on the Kings tonight with a dunk. Max him out Garpax.

Lavine will be restricted. Not too many teams will have the space to make a big offer to him. I think Bulls should be able to match or sign him themselves for a reasonable amount.

Not a good time to be a free agent. Wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls priced him at the deadline.Monkey_Driven wrote:Lavine will be restricted. Not too many teams will have the space to make a big offer to him. I think Bulls should be able to match or sign him themselves for a reasonable amount.
