Awesome game, best Super Bowl in years.
The Eagles should keep Nick Foles as starter too, Carson Wentz is great, but Nick proved his worth tonight for sure.

Re: 2017 NFL Season
I had no skin in the game, but it felt like a college game. Big defensive play at the end to strip the ball, but prior to that it was a video game. I can see young people calling it the best SB, but I prefer a little resistance. Entertaining game, but I don't think it was actually very good.Jammer XCI wrote:Awesome game, best Super Bowl in years.

Re: 2017 NFL Season
What, a fucking game!!!!!
What a team!
Bill Bellachick, what a douche canoe. "We missed some things on offense" YOU PUNTED THE BALL ONCE AND RACKED UP 600 yards on offense? You didnt lose because you missed some things on offense? you lost because your D, couldnt stop, well anything.
Double sweet for this Eagles fan. I grew up a fan of Washington, Darrell Green was my favorite player growing up. It was the benching of him, and the cutting of Brian Mitchell that made me change teams to Philly. Having Green bring them the Lombardi Trophy was like a little bit of both my teams coming full circle. Although, I think that was the slowest he has ever moved in his life bringing that thing out.

So wait, you changed teams? From one NFC East team to another? Enjoy the big win I guess.

Re: 2017 NFL Season
Yeah, but the two teams had a TON of shared players. Art Monks last games were with Philly in 95ish? Monk was from Syracuse so I always followed them, which of course is where McNabb played.verb_to_trust wrote:So wait, you changed teams? From one NFC East team to another? Enjoy the big win I guess.
Brian Mitchell, David Akers, N.D. Kalu, and James Thrash all went from Wash to Philly around 99-2001. J. Trotter went from Philly to Wash back to Philly. Troy Vincents played for both, McNabb played for both, Deshaun Jackson played for both, even Sonny Jurgensen.
But it was the signing of Deion Sanders in the 99/2000 off season, which led to D.Green being benched, and B.Mitchell getting cut that was enough for me. And I followed McNabb through college so it was pretty easy to switch to Philly right at the start of their great run. And well Washington has been garbage for most of the 18 years since.

Re: 2017 NFL Season
Who would love a 15 min version of RITFW from PJ and Uncle Neil for a halftime show?
I'm so over the over produced greatest hits medley, random people jumping up and down, marching bands that arnt even playing their instruments lazer light shows.

Got up early to watch this (had an hour and 15 minutes). Good game. Was hoping for the Patriots, but still enjoyed it.
