Re: 2018 Tour Rumors
the Bosstones opened for the Dropkick Murphys, and that was a unique stage setup where it was essentially the bleachers and the right field grandstand were the only seats sold (so the stage was facing the opposite direction of where it normally does)bodysnatcher wrote:i'm only seeing 2-night shows on setlist.fm, but don't know how complete that isnumbers wrote:Did the Stones do three shows? Re: 2018 Tour Rumors
For Boston, $40 per ticket is a Fenway fee. That's a ton.Bi_3 wrote:HardTI wrote:Since when are tickets nearly 250 for a pair? What the fuck!?!?!

I think I'm officially done seeing this band live. I won't spend 125 a ticket on anyone. Sucks, though, this was going to be my son's first concert.

Re: 2018 Tour Rumors
The price of tickets has skyrocketed this decade. 250/pair is very much in line with what similar bands charge for similar venues. Guns n' Roses, Metallica and U2 tickets are all going to be in that range, and all three of those bands charge substantially more for the best seats.
I totally get that some people don't see it as an expense that they can stomach - shit, it's a 25 percent increase from just two years ago. But, that's basically the new normal for live events.

what a joke. are stadium shows in general (no matter what band) more expensive due to other fees that an arena or theater might not have?

Re: 2018 Tour Rumors
probably true, but none of those bands really put forth a "we care about our fans" image more than PJmkay0 wrote:The price of tickets has skyrocketed this decade. 250/pair is very much in line with what similar bands charge for similar venues.
