I would love to make this a thing. Can this be a thing?
You can make anything a thing if you believe in it strongly enough.

I kind of set myself up for this, didn't I?

So i felt kinda bad for Joe because we joked about Bad Moms Christmas....i took a plane and the movie was there. And i was want to bond with Joe, understand him. Understand what he see in this movies, why he thinks this movies are progressive and important. Joey is my man you know?

And i saw it. And guys...its the worst piece of shit i saw in a long time. Fake acting. Lots of montage scenes with the girls doin nothing. Incredible cliché characters near the offensive. Not an ounce of feminism. Not a single second of greatness.

I think Joey needs help.

Just saw Three Billboards, which was the last of the Best Picture noms I hadn’t seen, so:

Great:
1. The Post
2. Get Out

Good:
3. Call Me by Your Name

Okay:
4. Darkest Hour

Bad:
5. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Awful:
6. Lady Bird
7. The Shape of Water
8. Phantom Thread
9. Dunkirk

I've watched two this past week.
Dunkirk. Well made, above average WWII flick. The type of movie you expect to get some award nominations but not really win anything. It kind of you in the action without much detail but obviously the back story is easy to find out about if you're so inclined.
Bigsby Bear was a pleasant surprise. It takes a while to get going but once it does it's a very sweet story with a genteel tone. Kyle Mooney plays it exactly like you would expect and several familiar faces pop up through out. Reminded me of Be Kind Rewind at times but otherwise not really like anything else out there.

My take so far:

Great:
Three Billboards..

Good
Dunkirk

Okay:
The Shape Of Water.

Bad:
Get Out.

Havent seen the others yet...Lady Bird is next.

A Ghost Story was so good on every level. It impacted me so much that I even had dreams about it last night. And when I woke up at 4 am, after dreaming about it, I couldn't fall back asleep because the movie and my thoughts about it were running around my head like insane bugs.

I don't think my wife liked it very much though.
