it was hard to narrow it down to one song for jack white, but yeah, i agree, he'd own that song.

You know, I think I'd like to hear Tom Waits do any of the spoken word tracks. But especially Bushleaguer or Push Me, Pull Me.

That's the one. The rest I'd have to think about. But I want this so, so badly. I can't even...
And maybe give them a shot at Help Help and In The Moonlight as well.

Come to think of it, maybe The Mynabirds should just do a Pearl Jam covers album.

An all-girl tribute album called PJXX would be funny (though the release would be a couple of years too late).

Ronnie and the Ronettes: a full wall-of-sound Around the Bend
Duffy: Corduroy in the vein of Syrup and Honey
The Little Willies: All Those Yesterdays
Janis Joplin: Alive
Annie Lennox: Gonna See My Friend
Adele: Black
Dolly Parton: In My Tree (doing what she did to Billy Joel's Traveling Prayer)
Florence and the Machine: Brain of J
Billie Holiday: Blood
Amy Winehouse: Severed Hand
Sonic Youth (Kim Gordon singing): Hail, Hail

Yeah. I love your idea and might try to think of my own. I actually hate that I didn't think of it first. You're a clever fucker.
