Not being familiar with the story I had to go to the source. Now I get it.

Someone on another board described new Lions DC Paul Pasqualoni as "Will Ferrell cosplaying as Jerry Sandusky" and now I'll never unsee it.

Is Garropolo"s deal one of those contracts where they can just cut him if he gets a hangnail?

More or less any NFL team can do that to any player. If the numbers here are accurate, SF may have thought of this, as he'd be less than a $4.5m dead cap hit after his first two years: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/san-francisc ... olo-14472/

They can cut him whenever they want, but they owe him huge guaranteed money up front.

Originally, I wasn't excited about the prospects of the Cards going after Cousins. But Cousins would actually be a good fit for the players they have. As he tends to throw to TEs, backs and slot WRs a lot. Fitz and a healthy David Johnson would have big years and I suspect Seals-Jones will have a break-out season.

I'm hopeful Fitz would be in line for another 100+ receptions during his farewell tour.

:nice:

I love Cousins in Arizona. And your points make me love it more.

Marcus Peters getting traded to the Rams. Bammer will probably dislike this more than Joey will.
