yes. Incredibly incentive world building, striking visuals, fully realized afro-futurism, incredible costumes, all captured by an academy award winning cinematographer

For me it was the worst digital cinematography i saw in a long time. Blurry images, weird looking action sequences, bland cgi landscapes and obvious set pieces.

There's a good chance I'll like this more than the Han Solo movie

Her work includes such memorably gorgeous material as Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie and Oprah’s Master Class: Belief Special

Dope is fantastically shot. And I know you didn't like Fruitvale Station but I think her work there is on point as well.

the black panther action was ok (the character). it was better in civil war. the stuff with the guard (the bald spear women) i really liked, as well as the challenge fights. i quite enjoyed the distorted quasi fever dream way the first jungle sequence played out (which is in the trailer but looks different in the final film).

No biggie. She made history by becoming the first woman nominated for Best Cinematography this year.

You should check out Dope. It's a great film. And I think you'd really like Fruitvale Station, though it's not really a fun time at the movies, if you know what I mean.

Fruitvale Station is everything wrong with American indie cinema in 90 minutes.
