JP has the esteemed title of being the only film that has ever made me pee my pants in the theater seat.

It's been 20 fucking years. I remember seeing this at the old Wollaston theater on dollar movie night.

I was so happy to see this in the theater. My mom wouldn't let me, but finally gave in when it showed up at the shitty asbestos filled dollar movie theater.

Yeah, I remember my dad taking me on a "guy's night" at the Gateway Cinema I & II, also a dollar theater. We stopped at a Taco Bell before the movie and I remember seeing posters for Demolition Man in the restaurant.

It was my earliest movie theater experience that I can remember. I was 6 going on 7.

this movie unseated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as the greatest movie of all time when it came out.

Is there also supposed to be a 4th movie coming out soon?

I haven't seen any 3d movies since i think the 5th Nightmare on Elm Street back in the early 90s, but i might have to see this one

No? Ill probably want to check it out to see what kinda dinosaurs they come up with, i remember there being some cool ones in the lost world book that didn't make the movie. Probably not gonna be a quarter as good as the first, but hopefully a fun one to watch once

Hilarious. THis movie was so great. still is. It liked changed the world. Funny that CGI has gone completely downhill since then. What a great film.

I finished reading the book the day before I saw the movie. Waited in line for over an hour and a a half and I hated the movie. Just did not live up to the book at all.

Since then, I've come around on the movie quite a bit. Saw a second time in the theaters, with my younger cousin, about four months after I saw it on opening day. The book was further away from my memory and I was able to just sit back, have a good time, and watch my cousin fall in love with the movie.

That was pretty cool.

Summer I turned 16 so pretty much the same boat.
The effects here & the liquid metal ones from T2 hold up better than any early 90s movies.
