I actually used to have parts of several lectures on cultural commodification that focused on Disney.

but then they bought Marvel AND Star Wars!

While he has taken a deeply disappointing turn into boring conservatism in recent years, this is a grossly unfair dismissal of his championing and criticism of black art stretching back over 30 years.
