They'd definitely change up the sets.
From the press info:
Big Day Out is proud to present Seattle’s PEARL JAM who will be playing at each Big Day Out including different sets at each Sydney show. Officially closing the Blue Stage, you don’t want to miss out on Pearl Jam’s debut Big Day Out shows. This will be your only chance to see Pearl Jam in Australia and New Zealand this summer.

It specifically said on the website they're doing different sets

Sheesh guys, it's a Pearl Jam tour! It's hardly a bad thing. It'll be a blast.
That's awesome man. I'm glad you guys will get to see them.

Thanks for answering my questions guys. I keep going back and forth on what to do. I think I might just go for one show tomorrow and try my luck for a second later if I change my mind. Or maybe just buy second now because it'll be easy to flip if I change my ming later. Arrrggghhh..

If Pearl Jam and Arcade Fire clash the festival organisers will be entering a world of pain.

Sorry too lazy to look it up what does the "like a Boss" tickets get you ?
"For those patrons who are looking for the premium Big Day Out experience, you have the opportunity to attend the shows Like A Boss. In 2014 Like A Boss will include:

1.A Limited Edition Like A Boss Souvenir Ticket
2.A Special Limited Edition Like A Boss Club Pass. Everyone will know you’re A Boss.
3.Exclusive Boss Main Stage Viewing Areas
4.Boss Entry Ways
5.Real Boss Amenties including Bars, Toilets, and much more,"

If it was me and the wife going I'd seriously look at this.

Yeah, tough call. What do you usually do on Aus Day? If you enjoy the JJJ countdown or have a party to go to or enjoy doing your lawns at home on Aus Day, perhaps that's the one to leave out. That's what I'd do, but Oz Day is just an institution for me and I don't usually share it with PJ!

Plus likelihood of 'more relaxed' BDO crowd the day after Oz Day for me is almost enough of a reason.

Oh man, I shouldn't have looked at The Pit. This place is sunshine and rainbows in comparison. No wonder the band love festivals.

Good points. I don't usually have a tradition, just wing it each year. Yeah a 'more relaxed' BDO crowed def sounds more appealing.

All of you going should be kissing your lucky stars that you get to see Pearl Jam and Arcade Fire at the same show. That's like a dream come true for me. PJ better step up their game, because if Arcade Fire is playing directly before them, PJ run the risk of being blown off the stage. No joke.

So, so, so jealous right now. And I didn't even mention Blur and Snoop Dogg. Anybody complaining about the lineup should shut the fuck up.

Maybe 10c should just make this the official board? They already stole everything else from here.

I've looked at the Pit over the last couple of weeks a few times, desperate to see some very slightly different discussions about Lightning Bolt -- with different arguments, speculations, spelling, grammar, that kind of thing. And is it just me or is it even more dead than this board? Literally nothing happening at all. I guess that's what total fan satisfaction looks like.

Well, that's interesting:

http://www.thevine.com.au/music/festiva ... -for-2014/
Pearl Jam will follow Arcade Fire on the main stage and play for two hours. Blur will start on the new LOVE stage immediately after Pearl Jam. No crossover!

Sounds awesome to me, I would've done my best to attend and see all three.
