you know this, of course, but that's really stretching what infallible means. It's a lot more likely to be an anti-religious/political rant than that.harmless wrote:I've suddenly just had the horrible vision of 'Infallible' being a piece of shiny self-help / inspirational pop / pap, about beating the world's bad times and feeling awesome and appreciating music. Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
Yeah, I just thought of that actually. Infallibility is one of God's attributes according to Christian doctrine, and certain religious leaders claim to be, or set themselves up to be, infallible (the Pope). I wouldn't mind if the song did that at all.stip wrote:you know this, of course, but that's really stretching what infallible means. *new PJ songs can include old unused/unreleased PJ songs...
That's really what I was getting at anyway.

Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
I just think a lot of people want a spacey, experimental album in it's entirety, and not a 15 second blurb in Life Wasted and say its experimental. Drugs may not be the answer, but i think it will help. But i don't think we'll ever see it.harmless wrote:I just find it funny that the one thing in common with everyone's visions for the new album, is drugs.pnjguy wrote:No, its fine.harmless wrote:This idea is getting a little too familiar on the internet.pnjguy wrote:I think the whole recording process is getting a little too familiar.

BOB doesn't mention LB as one of the 5-minute+ songs, as it was live. Does that mean he's cut it down to 2 minutes?

True. I'm only speculating because he mentioned 'a couple' (I think?) which were longer, but LB wasn't one of them.
