That one shot of Leia alone sitting by the window as hyperspace goes by, she’s using the force right there to try reach out to sense Luke or Rey.

They did do that though. She senses Kylo and knows they’re about to get hit.

I'm not sure it is clear enough to the wider audience that it is the Force she is using or she just knows they're effed. I got it, but you know...dimejinky99 wrote:They did do that though. Ah no even the civilians I know got that much. Nobody’s every argued against it. It’s far too obvious to miss. Wasn’t it even in the trailers? Camera cuts back and forth and we get Han and leais theme playing over it.
Plus he doesn’t fire. You’d be fairly good thick if you missed it. Or in the toilet.

I should restate it, I'm not sure it is clear enough her "sensing" ability has improved dramatically since the OT in those scenes alone.dimejinky99 wrote:Ah no even the civilians I know got that much. Yeah I’d agree. She’s fairly sensitive to it in the OT but nothin overt. Tough to show that onscreen. Her sensing Hans Death was a good obvious depiction I think.

Alternative Phasma death scene was just shown on the Star Wars show. It’s actually a better scene than the one in the film. Mostly.

I like how you can see the crew and boom mike in her helmet reflection.

It seems like yes according to the novelization. But films trump novels as far as official canon goes. JJ could bring her back given her ambiguous demise in TLJ.bada wrote:Is Phasma dead for sure? I keep hoping they do something cool with her.

I’m sposed to not talk about this. It doesnt matter really.
But Hamill is coming to Dublin this week to do loads of press for the home release of TLJ.
He’s also taking part in the st Patrick’s day parade in town on Saturday.
My pal is taking care of him while he’s here and hopefully getting me in to meet him.
I might die lads. Luke.
