This was easy fun. A bit of a comedy without much substance, but can’t say it wasn’t entertaining.

Apparently the Blu-ray/DVD release of this will have subtitles available in Te reo - which is pretty cool.

you just go and buy the blu-ray, mister! If we don't support this thing it might not get off the ground.

I think it usually hits like 6 months after the physical release.

This was a tiresome, weightless movie for little kids. Yuck.

I'm kind of surprised you still see movies, LV. You don't seem to enjoy them.

I enjoy plenty of movies. Most of the movies I watch, in fact. I just don’t tend to enjoy Marvel movies. Or TFA and TLJ. There are other movies out there, you know.

I think I may lose your enjoyment of movies amongst the drowning collection of Marvel/Star Wars dissing.

I was pretty hopeful you’d like this one LV. I enjoyed it for totally breaking the usual marvel cookie cutter format and cos they let Waititi do his thing with the dialogue and humour.

Ah well.

Really? It felt extremely faithful to the Marvel formula to me. I appreciate some things Waititi tried to do, but it was insignificant in the face of the crushing Marvelness of it all.

I feel like every Marvel movie that is overly praised for being different or "breaking from the mold" does so in 5 percent increments. It is still 90-95 percent a Marvel movie.
