I really like Founders Porter, Guinness Foreign Extra, Left Hand Milk Stout among others, but some of the blueberry / maple / bacon / smoked stouts just seem like too much.

You should hit North Coast in Fort Bragg as well. The Skunk Train stop in FB is walking distance to the brewery from there.

I've been to Anderson Valley a few times - decent, but I was very underwhelmed.
