I have not heard numbers 1, 5, and 7.
There's absolutely no way you haven't heard Mr. Brightside. You've heard it.
Yeah, when I pulled it up on YouTube this morning. Before that, never.
I can't believe that.
I promise you, I recognized nothing about that song when I listened today. The title and band was even new to me.

That's insane to me. Did you not listen to music or watch any television or movies from 2004 to 2010??!!

I'm mostly feigning disbelieve because the song was so huge and ubiquitous for so long. But I do actually believe you. There are plenty of examples from my own life of this same thing.

The first time I heard Pony (on Parks and Recreation reruns in like 2013) my wife was SHOCKED that I didn't know that song. She still thinks its completely crazy.

You haven’t heard Mr. Brightside? How’s that even possible?
I dunno. I pulled it up on YouTube and had no recollection of it whatsoever.
That song was EVERYWHERE for months after it came out. I still hear it regularly at restaurants and stuff like that. I’m really amazed that you managed to avoid it.
how did it end up like this?

I haven't listened to music on the radio in probably 20 years. Now, it may have been on a show or in a movie I've seen, but obviously, I didn't think it was very memorable. And still don't.
