Also, you should put links to each in the OP. Let that act as an index.

It’s the same folder link for all discs. I thought I had posted it in OP - will do that now...

Re: Pearl Jam - Definitive Live Versions (a Green Habit sequ
Or the scream at the beginning. Or the guitar solo. I think it is absolutely the definitive version. And I feel as if I'd know because DTE is my favorite PJ song and I've scoured the official boots looking for a better version than the LO2L version. Haven't come across one that's even close.Hatfield wrote:

The East Troy and London "Hail Hail" are both pretty lousy. How did those wind up on the list? I can think of half a dozen better versions from 2000 alone.
"Smile" must be from Barcelona. There is no option.

I think I might have screwed up the columns on my overall spreadsheet so ignore those - it's definitely a showdown between Letterman and LO2L.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:The East Troy and London "Hail Hail" are both pretty lousy. Post-2009 versions of In My Tree have been stellar. Much tighter than some of the early live performances of the songs. Doesn't Ed fuck up the lyrics in both Berlin '96 and Melbourne '98?
Off the top of my head, Boston 2010 and Berlin 2012 are head and shoulders better than most early performances. Ed still sounds great on this one, too.

Interesting perspective - I have enjoyed IMT versions this decade too (the slow 2003-2006 version is thankfully now dead and buried).BootsToAsses wrote:Post-2009 versions of In My Tree have been stellar. As for lyrics, I don't think Ed has sung this site's URL in 20 years. Berlin 96 does have lyrics errors but Melbourne 1998 is pretty spot on, except for this:
Plus JACK FUCKING IRONS (I do really love Matt's 2000-era drumming on this though).http://www.twofeetthick.com/concert-chronology/pj1998/ wrote:Ed slips in a tribute to the late Michael Hutchence (of INXS) during ‘In My Tree’ (“I’m so high I hold just one breath, give it to INXS, just like my innocence”).
