Thank you for that. I never could justify the money for the fan club being working poor. My only point was that I paid the band for their art. I never stole it from the internet. Absolutely my grammar as it appears on electronic devices is awful. Sometimes it is intended as with using your instead of you are. Usually it is me being a moron. I felt I had some relationships on the forum but many of those people are gone or don't post much.

I think we, as PJ fans, are getting dangerously close to Metallica fans in our level of disinterest/dissatisfaction. I used to laugh at how part of Metallica fans hated the new music for being, new music that wasn't anything like Metallica. The next album theyd be bitching how they just rehashed their old songs and called them new. Never happy, always mad. I hope that's not where were all headed, and I hope Pearl Jam is a better band and will keep making at least good music. Nothing was great on LB but it had good music at least. Id put this song Cant Deny Me in that category.

Just to balance out all the negativity specifically targeted towards Ed, let me reiterate that I really like this song and that Ed's singing is the best part of it. No Ed, no reason for me to listen to this band. I am excited for a new album and if this song makes it on that album, I wouldn't be disappointed at all. Yes, I'd prefer it not make the album if that means I can get another new song instead.

Yeah, I think one of the great tragedies of Cornell's passing is it diminished the chances of hearing what this band are capable of without going through the filter of Ed.

Just not sure if any of us would really ever get back to that feeling you had 15-20 years ago. I don’t think there is any song or album they could put out right now that will live up to that. While the last 2 albums aren’t my favorites there is still some good stuff in there.
I think this song is different sounding, which is a good step.
