Re: Cord Cutters Unit
Bros, new question:
How do I share a signal between multiple TV’s at my house?
I will continue using cable (Comcast). I see no way out of it especially for live sports. What I am trying to avoid is the monthly charge for additional cable boxes. I only need/want 2 (living room and bedroom).
But we’re putting a TV (or projector with screen - haven’t decided yet) out on our new covered patio and will really only use that for baseball & football games. Is there a way to, for example, put the game on my living room TV via the Comcast box, and somehow “share” the signal to my patio TV (projector) so I am watching the exact same thing on both screens?

Re: Cord Cutters Unit
I've never tried it before, but I believe you can split the cable between two tvs, but you can only watch one tv at a time. Don't quote me on that though

Re: Cord Cutters Unit
Hmmm ... interesting ... like maybe have two cables, connected to the respective TV’s, and only plug one of them into the Comcast box at a time. This could work. No way to use the remote outside but that’s OK if I just have one game on. Interesting.

Re: Cord Cutters Unit
Need a cable anyway. But if you had a spare long one, you could plug it in only when you need to use the projector. It could actually be more family friendly.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:grossAnders wrote:A long cable could work.

Re: Cord Cutters Unit
You should be able to put a splitter between the output of the cable box and the plug of your tv. As mentioned, you’d probably have to watch the same things on both TVs, tho.Bammer wrote:Hmmm ... interesting ... like maybe have two cables, connected to the respective TV’s, and only plug one of them into the Comcast box at a time. Bammer, you should really look into Playstation Vue for a streaming option. Has all the sports channels you need (other than MLB Network) and several regional sports networks.
