I agree. It's pretty lame they aren't released at the same time.
Vudu recently launched a digital + disc option, where you can buy it now and watch the digital copy, then they also send you the physical copy when it comes out. If you’re into that sort of thing.

That's pretty legit. Is it a RedBox style physical disc?

Nope, it’s a legit, sealed retail copy.

I haven’t done it myself, but I think it’s a little more than just digital, but about the same as physical? Not entirely sure if they do 4K BDs either.

Interesting. I'll check it out. A 4k digital and physical Blu Ray would be my preferred option.

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

LV even sounds like he’s selling snake oil :)

He's right! Not an option for The Last Jedi (yet), but is for others.

I have to say, I feel like most of those deleted scenes should've stayed in the final cut.

The raiders and caretakers and Luke and Rey absolutely should have

My housemate is an editor and working on an edit right now.

Cutting from the moment DJ walks out of the cell and they follow him to just before they infiltrate Snokes ship.

He’s cuttin in some deleted scenes too I think

Not sure Rian Johnson would be thrilled that fans are offering to share this illegally. Hollywood is dead serious about that stuff. I will buy my digital copy on Comcast this weekend.

Hamill was on our main chat show here last night and gave probably the best interview I’ve ever seen him do. He was really relaxed and charmed the pants off the entire country:)
Here’s a clip. They let a little fella ask him a question or two. It’s adorable:)
