I'm in a pool with 8 guys. Each guy drafts 4 golfers (snake style draft).
Each day, your two best golfers' scores to par are kept. The other 2 are thrown out.
You cumulatively develop your score to par over the 4 rounds.
Example
Day 1: Tiger -2, Pieters +2, Casey E, and Finau -1
Your total day 1 score is: -3
That score is kept and the process begins again on day 2.
Best overall cumulative score to par by the end of the tournament wins.
The twist is that at the end of day 1, each "team" is seeded into a tournament bracket. So in the above example, if that's the best score of the day (-3) that owner would be the 1 seed. There are 8 total seeds (for each of the 8 owners). Each subsequent round is a match play faceoff between owners, so while the overall best score to par is continued to be tabulated, you can win the match play tournament as well. Different payouts for the different prizes.
If 2 of your golfers are cut, you only get the remaining 2 golfers. If 3 or more of your golfers get cut, you are officially eliminated from the pool
