I was going to be surprised and outraged that a song as magnificent as Yellow Ledbetter was eliminated against most of the songs that still remain. Then I remembered that much of RM's population can't figure out not to vote in a poll labeled 'inactive,' and these results made more sense.

Wash is a great example of a song from that era that I used to love, but now does feel dated (in part because they went on to capture this type of mood more effectively). The only song where that's more the case is footsteps.
