Uncompressed fine for me. Suggest re-downloading.

Just finished listening and it's another outstanding effort!

That version of Habit is just ridiculously good - one of the few 2000 boots I haven't heard before.

And does Stone say "suck it!" about a minute into Mankind??

I think it might even be "suck me!"

Either way, one of my all-time favourite Stoney moments :nice:

I'm a big fan of the Monkeywrench DtE, don't know on sound quality.

But yeah, the Lo2L version is stellar too.

The Monkeywrench version is great and so is the sound quality as it was released on the PJ20 soundtrack (the version ripped straight from the pirate radio broadcast is fine too). But I just don't think any version can ever top LO2L. And believe me, I've searched.

For the record, the Brad/Wendy monkeywrench boot is not from a pirate radio broadcast. It's from the pre-broadcast digital tapes used for broadcast syndication. So the quality is as good or better than PJ20.

As far as I can remember, the only "broadcast" that we remastered is Rotterdam 1993. Everything else is from promos and pre-broadcasts.

Let's keep the discussion going on the Yield tracks.

I think Wishlist, Untitled/MFC, and In Hiding are the most difficult ones to decide here...

Btw, looks like there is a bit of a Yield-fest going on in Rio right now :nice:

Despite the lyric flub to start it, I like the Seattle 2000 In Hiding.

Brain of J

This one has to be Melbourne. Classic live cut of this classic song.

Faithfull
- Jones Beach 2000-08-23
- Camden 2000-09-02
- Seattle 1998-07-22

Shame there's no 98 contenders here. Do we have good audio of the ten club vids that came out of this song from Sydney 98?

No Way
- Seattle 2009-09-22
- Buffalo 2010-05-10

I haven't heard either of these so cannot comment.

Given To Fly
- Los Angeles (LO2L) 1998-07-14
- Melbourne 1998-03-05
- West Palm Beach 2003-04-11

I like there version from the monkey wrench broadcast as it has the cool phaser effect on the main riff that disappeared from later versions. If we have to choose then is has to be LO2L as the Melbourne version was a bit flat for me.

Wishlist
- Vic Theatre 2007-08-02
- NYC 2003-07-08
- Melbourne 1998-03-05

Could easily go with on elf the others though.

Pilate
- Perth 2009-11-14
- Prague 2000-06-14
- Verona 2000-06-20

Perth because I'm biased, but I actually prefer the 2000 versions.

Do the Evolution
- Los Angeles (LO2L) 1998-07-13

Prefer the Melbourne version so we can admire Ed's 12 inch cock.

Untitled
- Camden 2000-09-02
- Global Citizens 2015-09-26
- West Palm Beach 2003-04-11

I don't believe this should be in the main mix as it wasn't on the original album. Perhaps a B-side list? The Lo2L version is the one for me.

MFC
- Camden 2000-09-02
- Melbourne 1998-03-05

The Melbourne version was a train wreck.

In Hiding
- San Francisco (LOXL) 2006-07-18
- Milwaukee 2006-06-29
- Philadelphia 2009-10-30
- Los Angeles 1998-07-13 (minor lyric error fixed on LO2L II version)
- Seattle 2000-11-06

Low Light
- Columbia 2016-04-21
- Benaroya Hall 2003-10-22
- Halifax 2005-09-22
- Wrigley 2016-08-22

Push Me/Pull Me
- Berlin 2010-06-30

All Those Yesterdays
- Washington DC 1998-09-19

Leatherman
- Seattle 2000-11-06
- Salzburg 2000-06-18
- Pittsburgh 2000-09-05

Shame we don't have Perth 98 in soundboard quality ;)

U
- San Bernardino 2000-10-28
- Kansas City 2000-10-12

Can't comment on either of these.
My selections and comments above. So hard to choose. With Jack's signature all over the album tracks its disappointing we don't have more soundboards of the yield tour to choose from with him on the kit.

Are there any ‘98 versions of No Way? If so, I’d imagine those would be way better than 2009 versions.
