Re: Tournament Rules
I do wonder why people write God's Dice and Faithful, instead of Gods' Dice and Faithfull.

Well, I can tell you why they don't write Fathfull.Anders wrote:I do wonder why people write God's Dice and Faithful, instead of Gods' Dice and Fathfull.
But otherwise I agree.

Re: Tournament Rules
Typo, sorry. Really stupid of me to ask about such a thing, and then type wrong.Birds in Hell wrote:Well, I can tell you why they don't write Fathfull.Anders wrote:I do wonder why people write God's Dice and Faithful, instead of Gods' Dice and Fathfull.

But I don’t think people do it because of typos, because I see it again and again.

I don't know why either; laziness for some and lack of attention to detail for others, perhaps.Anders wrote:Typo, sorry. What gets me is "Betterman" - wha?!
I guess it doesn't help that they have a song titled "Nothingman" on the same record but still.

Re: Tournament Rules
True and true. It's about attention to detail. But these are song titles that can even change the meaning of a song.Birds in Hell wrote:I don't know why either; laziness for some and lack of attention to detail for others, perhaps.Anders wrote:Typo, sorry. Re: Tournament Rules
I like the title "Nothingman". "Betterman" is kind of weird, though.

Re: Tournament Rules
What I mean is that the song's title is "Better Man", not "Betterman", in case that wasn't clear.
That said, the band themselves have been pretty loose on these things; the song titling on the bootleg artwork is all over the place.

Re: Tournament Rules
Better Man, Gods' Dice and Faithfull are all written that way on purpose.

I'm not convinced Faithfull isn't just a typo.Anders wrote:Better Man, Gods' Dice and Faithfull are all written that way on purpose.

Re: Tournament Rules
IT shows the strength and weaknesses of each album when it’s either too hard to eliminate or just way too easy. The drop in quality post 2009 is ever so apparent.
Love this style of MM, Stip. It’s now going to get savage.

Re: Tournament Rules
How about merging the two misc polls? They are generally weaker anyway, and sort of belong together.

Re: Tournament Rules
Im not sure how the whole thing works but it might mess up with the schedule and we'd have to vote for 4 songs instead or 2. I also don't think they're weaker than the last 2 albums.

Re: Tournament Rules
They belong together. Would be interesting to see which ones are truly considered the best. If you wanted to keep the tournament as planned, you could have four through, instead of two from each. Same number.

Some tough polls left now. Getting really difficult.
