I haven't played online in a few months, nor have I ever played with a friend in the game. I thought I couldn't do turf war until level 10, but maybe that's just for ranked turf wars?

Yeah, I think that's ranked online multiplayer, which I haven't gotten into yet. I haven't tried playing with a friend yet, because I have no friends. It would be cool cause you never know who your teammate is gonna be. We could work out strategies and shit.

Nice. You can hit directions on the d-pad, also. Like "ouch" and "over here".

I haven't played any of these games. I guess I've been pretty disenchanted with Ubisoft since Assassin's Creed stopped surprising me. Am I missing anything from Far Cry that's not in other Ubisoft games?

Not really. I like the series way more than Assassin's Creed because it doesn't take itself too seriously and there's a lot more room for experimentation and goofing around.

I’m going to check it out this weekend. I don’t have anyone to play with though so we’ll see how that goes.
