I feel so sad I can’t rank these. TFA and TLJ sit comfortably among the OT for me.
But some days ANH is number one then other days it’s empire or Jedi.
I can definitely rank the bottom..
Sith/R1
Huge drop off
Phantom menace
Clone Wars
Infinite drop off
AOTC

I've seen TLJ 6 times now, so I feel comfortable ranking it.

1. The Last Jedi
2. Return of the Jedi
3. Empire Strikes Back
4. The Force Awakens
5. Rogue One
6. A New Hope
7. The Phantom Menace
8. Revenge of the Sith
9. Attack of the Clones

I think we have uncovered your legitimate reasons for hating Star Wars.

I will do whatever I can to help you on your path to recovery.

But I only hate one Star Wars movie and that's because it's bad

I've suffered through the prequel trilogy maybe 3 times since they came out. That's more than enough for my lifetime.

You’re due a rewatch. There’s a lot of good stuff in the prequels if you watch them and let go. Have you watched the clone wars series? That elevated the prequels for me. It’s six seasons but it’s the prequels as they should have been. Really enjoyable.

I haven't seen Clone Wars yet. I'm on the second season of Rebels, so I might finish that first and then try Clone Wars. Probably should've done it the other way round, tbh.

My last viewing of the prequel trilogy was about 1 month ago. I enjoyed TPM more than I remember, but AOTC is a real slog and I didn't really find many redeeming qualities. ROTS is still pretty good, but the dialogue in all three movies is beyond awful.

After my second viewing. TLJ could end up on the bottom, but the Amidala/Anakin interactions in AOTC are just insufferable.

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. New Hope
3. Rogue One
4. Return of the Jedi

A New Hope = Ten
The Empire Strikes Back = Vs.
Return Of The Jedi = Vitalogy
? = No Code
? = Yield
? = Binaural
Rogue One = Riot Act
Revenge Of The Sith = S/T
The Pantom Menace/The Force Awakens = Backspacer
Attack Of The Clones/The Last Jedi = Lightning Bolt

Lost Dogs = Clone Wars/Rebels

Where is our No Code, Yield to Binaural run?

Currently

1. The Last Jedi
2. A New Hope
3. The Empire Strikes Back
4. The Force Awakens

(2-4 are virtually tied)

5. Return of the Jedi
6. Rogue 1

and since they're technically star wars movies

7. Revenge of the Sith
8. Phantom Menace
9. Attack of the Clones

I'm struggling to get my thoughts around TLJ outclassing the OT in that rating.
