Fantastic show last night.

This Gift
Love Don't Leave Me Waiting
Roll On Slow / Gloria (Them cover)
Winning Streak
When Your Mind's Made Up (The Swell Season song)
Bird of Sorrow
Shelter
One of Us Must Lose
Vigilante Man (Woody Guthrie cover)
Didn't He Ramble
Way Back in the Way Back When
Wedding Ring
Her Mercy
Falling Slowly (The Swell Season song)
Fitzcarraldo (The Frames song)
Wreckless Heart
McCormack's Wall
May 12th, 1916 (sung by Niall Connolly)
Lowly Deserter
Grace Beneath the Pines
Gold (Interference cover)

Someone collapsed on the floor early in the show and they stopped for like 15 minutes while that got sorted. Because of that they didn't take an encore break, just played right through. Really enjoyed May 12th, 1916.

looking at the toronto setlist, the show previous to this one, it seemed the same thing happened there. i guess glen just gets the people to faint in his presence.

Or someone went to setlist.fm and added that tidbit to the wrong show.

no, that was on the toronto set before your show even happened. so unless they were predicting the future, it appears to have happened twice.

These gigs were so fantastic. The frames particularly. Give this a go

At the end of the summer, you probably remember, we travelled around Ireland with our friends from The Footsbarn Travelling Theatre. We took their beautiful circus tent and pitched it in four remote spots. We used the space for music, theatre, poetry and there was even room made for fun, joy and laughter…
It was truly a life affirming crazy thing to have undertaken - but it worked - well, we think so….we'd even consider doing it again down the line…

We asked our friend and film maker, Myles O'Reilly Arbutus Yarns Presents, to document the madness... He did so admirably and he's just finished putting together what we're calling 'Come On Up To The House - The Movie'! As we have so, so much footage, I think we might be seeing more in the future as Myles just couldn't fit everything into a filmish length…but, this is a bloody good start in anyone's book…

We are going to put this film up for streaming on vimeo for the next 2 weeks over the holidays only. If you want to watch the film, we are asking people if they would donate to a charity that we are supporting this year, The Inner City Help the Homeless Inner City Helping Homeless. A suggested minimum donation of a fiver - If you can donate more, then great and if you can't afford a fiver, then whatever you can afford will be welcome, but its basically the price of a coffee or a pint..

I'm asking you to go direct to their site too, so that none of the funds is subject to a % to vimeo or a tax man come knocketh if it goes through our accounts or whatever….straight to them as a registered volunteer based charity, and they'll get 100% of your donation. I hope that makes sense and you don't mind having to do that as it's only an extra click or two... https://www.ichh.ie/

We hope you enjoy the film as much as we all enjoyed the journey it took in getting the shows to happen…well - mostly enjoyed it - there were some hairy times :)

Have a wonderful holiday and Happy Christmas.

Haha. He’d love to hear that :) Leonard is one of his big three.

I don’t know Cohen’s work at all so I’ll take your word for it.

listened a few times now and am definitely feeling this one. lots of potential live, too, with that slow build. looking forward to what else is in store after the last record kind of fell short for me.

Yeah the last one is almost like odds and sods. It was leftovers from other sessions.
His manager wanted to put them out in some form so he left him to it. I really like it some great ones on there like one of us must lose and wheels on fire but it’s an odd jumble of songs for sure.

This new one is a complete gear shift. I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s totally bonkers at first but then when it lands it’ll blow you away. The first three particularly. And this is the first track on it.
