Come at me with that vape secondhand research, that's the one that annoys me the most.

Didn't secondhand smoke effects turn out to be mostly a myth?

"But even if the cannabis tests clean, Springer says, smoke itself is bad for the lungs, heart and blood vessels."

This can't be right. Cannabis is a performance enhancer. Olympians use it. All of them.

It is annoying as heck to have the car's circulation on vent and take in a face of grape flavoured vape from the car in front of you on the freeway.

Looking at that Uber self driving car death, it seems that anyone would have ran her over. Its not the robot's fault.

Does LiDAR not work as well on clothing than say, vehicle panels or curbs? I can't imagine the Uber vehicle only used a vision system, especially at night.

Ireland just saw the graduation of its first ever non national police officer today.
This isn’t borne of any racism. It’s just non nationals are almost new here. I’m fucking over the moon. He’s literally a black guard (the most insulting harsh insult in all Irish). But in the best way. This is brilliant :) he’s facing an institutional horror though. The CIA said the Irish police are the most secretive orginisation currently active. They answer to no one. But I’m just happy this happened. I hope he sticks it out

Whatever happened there, I don't know if Raytheon can make missiles fast enough to keep up with the Saudi demand. 6 (or more) intercepts in a night? :-|

At this point, I wonder if we just keep the Saudis on as a client state to deprive the Russians of a testing ground for their ABM systems.

Turns out they had Lidar, but maybe not enough in the periphery:

That said, pedestrians jaywalking approach the median all the time in my area, and an agressive algorithm to prevent this type of incident would result in a huge number of rear end collisions.

White woman used the "K"-word* 48 times on camera. 2 years in prison. Sets a new precedent in South Africa, so will be interesting to watch the appeals process - it'll likely reach our highest court.

*Basically South Africa's "N"-word, though arguably worse - it's an ugly, ugly word used by nobody but racist whites.

This is not going to end well for whites in that country.

Someone able to help me out with this?
Our abortion referendum is in two months. To repeal the eighth amendment and allow abortion up to 12 weeks and in cases of threat to the life of the mother of cases of fatal foetal abnormality without restriction.

The pro life campaign launched today. And their main spokesman said this. Am I reading this right??

‘Spokesman for the group John McGuirk said those in favour of the amendment’s retention have reduced their campaign to telling people they are “terrible” if they do not agree with terminations in certain circumstances.’

Is he not attacking his own side?
Main article here. It’s not long but it is nauseating. And yes they actually are campaigning for women pregnant through rape or incest to be forced to give birth.
The pro life campaign here(save the 8th) have hired the same company that ran trumps campaign and the brexit campaign.

Is this just bizarre double speak?? It’s a weird statement from their main spokesman

Victims of rape and incest should carry babies to full term, say campaigners
‘Save the 8th’ group predicts referendum will not be passed
