Well, see, here we can agree. I don't like the production of Severed Hand, either. Totally agree with you there. But the song is still a great song, just a great song that's poorly produced/mastered.

I don't think Severed Hand is bad per se, but I think it's definitely been the weak link for the past few rounds. I enjoy s/t quite a bit up through Unemployable, but if that opening run dips anywhere it's with Severed Hand.

This. Severed Hand and WWS are the weakest songs on the album until the Army Reserve/Gone point.

I think part of the reason I like Severed Hand so much is that it's the first song on the record that grabs me. The opening three are some of the weakest songs on the album, for me. Severed Hand is such a breath of fresh air after those opening three, especially Comatose, which I really dislike.
