The move set of the old hunters roaming around that first area always frustrate me.

Ludwig was giving me troubles for a minute or two. Much more aggressive than other bosses.

I haven't played Bloodborne DLC. Should I try it, even though I haven't completed the game?

It is more Bloodborne, which is a very good thing. Explores more of the lore. It is difficult however.

That's what I thought of the last Metal Gear Solid game then I lost interest once it got repetitive. Let me know how you like it once the rest of the game gets going.

Not yet. Will likely wait a bit. Will be out of town next week.

No... Bloodborne is actually very horrifying.

Not looking forward to this fight. Took me forever the last time I played the DLC.

This is my first Far Cry experience actually. I’m sure it’ll get repetitive like most Open world games do but so far so good.

Guys, i played Bloodborne for 2.5 hours last night and STILL couldn't get past that first area with the mob and the bonfire. I farmed enough blood souls to buy the upgraded hunter gear and i'm still struggling. It's gone from brutal learning curve to just fucking annoying. I gotta be honest, this game is not fun anymore...gonna give it maybe one more session and then i'm scrapping it.

No. It gets bearable when you figure out the style of play required to progress. Watch a YouTube video.

Yes, it really does, especially once you get the rhythm of combat.

The opening area is the hardest part of the game.

One of my favorite gaming personalities with a hilarious description of his frustration/breakthrough with the opening part of the game:
