Yup. For drug possession and petty property crime (like vandalism). For some of this other stuff, second degree assault for example, I'm not so sure.

How does the process work? Do you go before a judge or something?

My wife had a marijuana conviction expunged. But she was a minor at the time.

I stole a Dinosaur Jr. album as a teen. Got caught. Went to court, but Plaintiff didn't show up so it was nolle prosequi. Years later, got it expunged. I was worried about it showing up when I was getting a background check for a gov't position but it didn't. Still love Dinosaur Jr.

There's a process, and yeah, you got to go before a judge.

No. A felony is a serious breach of societal norms. You have to have to earn that back by significant good deeds. Not getting convicted again within a certain time period is a terrible basis for re-establishing your voting and gun rights. (Yes, those should be linked)
